Message from the President
Cal Poly Pomona welcomes thousands of students, faculty and staff members to our campus each day to learn, discover and shape a better future. With this privilege comes our shared responsibility to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone.
As part of this commitment, and in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), we publish this Annual Security Report (ASR) each year.
The ASR provides important information about our campus safety policies and procedures, crime statistics, emergency management protocols and the many resources available to help prevent and respond to incidents. It includes details about crime reporting, prevention programs, victim rights and other key services designed to support the well-being of our community.
Safety is a shared responsibility. I encourage every member of our campus to stay informed, be aware of your surroundings, look out for one another and report any suspicious activity. By working together and staying engaged with safety-related services, emergency preparedness and crime prevention, we can continue to foster a campus environment where everyone can thrive.
