Currently, as Vice President, Global Head of Digital at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., Mr. Pegu leads the development and execution of the company's global omnichannel customer engagement and go-to-market strategy. He has a strong track record of modernizing customer experience ecosystems, implementing agile digital transformation programs, and developing best-in-class data science and analytics capabilities. 

Mr. Pegu's previous roles include Global Head, Digital Sales & Marketing at Merck KGaA, where he led a $2.5B global digital and e-commerce business, and Head, Growth & Performance Marketing at Allstate, where he built and led a high-performing digital and performance marketing organization. 

His leadership has consistently driven significant revenue growth, improved ROI, and enhanced customer engagement across diverse industries.

Nilutpal Pegu earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to his MBA, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from MNIT, Jaipur. 

Nilutpal Pegu is an accomplished leader with expertise spanning Digital Strategy, AI & Machine Learning, and Data Analytics. His career reflects significant achievements in driving E-commerce Growth through sophisticated Omnichannel Marketing and optimized Customer Experiences. With robust experience in P&L Management and Performance Marketing, he has consistently delivered notable Revenue Growth. Nilutpal is also skilled in forging Strategic Partnerships, enabling organizations to achieve sustained success and operational excellence in rapidly evolving markets. 

Nilutpal Pegu has earned notable professional recognitions, including Liberty Mutual’s prestigious President’s Award in 2015, the company’s highest honor for exceptional contributions. Throughout his career at BioMarin, Merck KGaA, Allstate, and Liberty Mutual, he consistently achieved the highest performance rating, placing him among the top 5% of employees. Nilutpal Pegu serves on the Advisory Board at the Center for Customer Insights and Digital Marketing (CCIDM) at Cal Poly Pomona. A strong advocate for bridging the gap between academia and industry, he will provide guidance and expertise to the Center, contributing to its mission of advancing knowledge in consumer behavior and digital marketing within the digital economy.
