Raj Chandnani has over 30 years of hospitality real estate experience, focused on sourcing investments, portfolio transitions, joint venture structuring , conceptualization, competitive positioning, branding strategies and development.

He has cultivated an exceptional network of owners, investors and developers. He stays abreast of consumer trends, is passionate about innovations in the industry, and has honed an encyclopedic knowledge of luxury and lifestyle developments around the world. He is comfortable at synthesizing sometimes disparate perspectives, and then transforming ideas into initiatives that can operationalized and monetized.

Chandnani was previously the global chief development officer at WATG, an international design firm focused on luxury and lifestyle hospitality developments around the globe. He also worked at CBRE Hotels and PKF Consulting.

Mr. Chandnani is Co-Chair of the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Hospitality Investment Roundtable, a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board at Cornell Nolan School of Hotel Administration, Trustee of the American Hotel & Lodging Association Foundation, and a member of the Collins College of Hospitality Management Board of Advisors at California Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has also taught classes on strategic planning, real estate finance, hotel development, tourism and design at Harvard University, Cornell University, NYU, USC, UCLA and Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
