The College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE) is pleased to announce a new workforce training sub-contract with the Southeast Los Angeles County Workforce Development Board (SELACO). This partnership strengthens CPGE’s commitment to workforce innovation and expands our impact in preparing communities for today’s evolving career landscape.
The collaboration with SELACO will focus on delivering targeted training aligned with regional workforce needs and employer demand. On August 21, CPGE’s Programs team will meet with SELACO representatives at their Cerritos office for a kickoff information session. The meeting will cover training materials, account management procedures, and updates from our industry partners, setting the foundation for a successful implementation.
This project reflects CPGE’s broader mission to deliver accessible, industry-aligned learning opportunities that meet the moment. The Programs team’s leadership in account management and partner coordination will be essential as we launch this new initiative.
Following the meeting, the CPGE team will gather for a lunch debrief to ensure alignment and shared understanding as we move forward in collaboration.
