SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union Gifts $200K to Support CEIS Programs

A $200,000 gift from SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in California and the largest serving school employees and their families, will support future educators and researchers on their path to shape young minds. The credit union, long a community partner to Cal Poly Pomona, has pledged the funds for the College of Education and Integrative Studies’ new Afrofuturism Initiative and the established Partners in Education (PIE).

Alumnus Contributes $50,000 to Help Broncos Affected by Wildfires

Alumnus Sean Yu (’99, political science; management and human resources), and his wife Christine, have pledged $50,000 to match donations given to the Bronco Care Basic Needs Initiative, which supports ÁùÉ«Íø students in crisis, and the newly established Bronco Employee Relief Fund to support faculty and staff. Yu’s donation will be evenly divided between the two funds.

College of Business Administration Receives $12.5M Gift, the Largest in its History

Cal Poly Pomona has received a $12.5 million philanthropic investment from alumni David and Ruth Singelyn to expand the College of Business Administration graduate program, which has been formally named the Singelyn Graduate School of Business. The donation represents the largest outright gift commitment from an alumni couple.
