This study abroad program is to provide students with an opportunity to visit and learn about the fashion industry in Paris, France. Paris provides students with a first-hand look into Parisian fashion and lifestyle that will further develop their understanding of the rich culture that Paris is known for. Students will be able to tour museums that house some of the most iconic art, fashion, and history that have been studied in the classroom. Guided tours and presentations from industry leaders and tastemakers will further enhance students' learning experience. Some trip highlights include a visit to Woolmark (textiles) headquarters, guest lectures from executives who work in merchandising and marketing for high-end fashion companies based in Paris (Hugo Boss, Chanel). Museum fashion tours at Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, and Palais Galliera. Museum art tours at Musee d'Orsay, Louvre, and Chateau Versailles to look at fashion and lifestyle from the Louis XIV era.
