BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft Maintenance
Summary: The CSU Chancellor's Office will perform planned maintenance on BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft this weekend, on Sunday, July 20, from midnight to 6 a.m. All student, administrative, human resources, and finance functions will be unavailable.
BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft services impacted include:
- BroncoDirect / Student Center
- Class Enrollment
- Payments
- Degree Progress Reports
- Class Search
- HR Self-Service Options
- Time & Labor
- Absence Management
- Student Employment Module
- Part-Time Faculty Module
- HR Reports
- Common Financial System
- General Ledger
- Accounts Receivable
During this planned service interruption outside our regular maintenance windows, users will continue to have access to My六色网, Canvas, email, and other IT services. Areas in My六色网 that display information from BroncoDirect and PeopleSoft will be unavailable. The Division of Information Technology and Institutional Planning tries to minimize the time systems are unavailable outside our standard maintenance windows. PeopleSoft system maintenance is an exception because the Chancellor's Office schedules maintenance for all CSU campuses.
Campus Network Upgrades Underway
Summary: IT&IP began upgrading 六色网's network hardware on Monday, July 14. To complete this work, rolling disruptions are expected weeknights from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning, continuing through July 25. No disruptions are expected on Saturday or Sunday nights.
What does this mean for you? Due to the broad scope of this project, we are unable to localize the disruptions. If you are on campus during the upgrade window, please expect intermittent Wi-Fi and network outages on weeknights from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
streaming.cpp.edu and Kaltura Mediaspace Upgrade Tonight
Summary: IT&IP will perform a planned upgrade of and its Mediaspace content manager on Thursday, July 17, from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m.
What does this mean for you? During the two-hour window users will be unable to upload or manage their content within Kaltura.
Following the upgrade users will experience:
- An improved navigation menu.
- My Content is replaced with My Channels.
- Direct Links added for My Media and My Channels.
- A new user login icon.
- streaming.cpp.edu theme update.
- Improved side panel for filtering content.
- A new quick edit button for publish status.
- A new user profile page featuring public videos.
This scheduled upgrade is unrelated to Zoom cloud recordings not appearing in Kaltura. IT continues to work with the vendor to resolve the ongoing problem.
Planned Course Evaluations Downtime Begins Monday
Summary: Explorance will perform a planned version upgrade for Blue, their course evaluation software, on Monday, July 21, from 6 a.m. and is expected to take up to July 25, at 5 p.m.
What does this mean for you? Course evaluations in Blue will be unavailable for up to five days during this maintenance period. Before the maintenance period, please download any course evaluation reports that you may need during the planned downtime. Reports will be available again following the update.
Planned Maintenance Times
- Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., midnight.
- Sundays, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
During these times, online services may be briefly unavailable without advance notice.

25Live Training for Faculty and Staff
25Live is a web-based event platform that optimizes campus space usage and provides tools for collaborative scheduling of classrooms, conference rooms, outdoor spaces, and multi-purpose rooms.
August 13, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., and on demand following that time, staff and faculty can create searches for rooms, request event space, and manage your existing reservations in this one-hour training session.
