Bronco Launchpad Empowers Donors to Fuel What’s Next
From scholarships to sustainability efforts to celebrating cultural and creative expression, is empowering the Cal Poly Pomona community to bring bold ideas to life.
The crowdfunding effort, which kicked off Nov. 1 and culminates with Giving Tuesday on Dec. 2, connects the spirit of giving with the power of action and invites people to support projects led by students, faculty and staff that make a real impact on campus and beyond. Each donation, no matter the size, fuels hands-on experiences, expands access to learning and strengthens the university’s ethos of Learn by Doing.
Among this year’s 90-plus active projects are initiatives that show how philanthropy drives progress:
- : Supports sustainable agriculture and student leadership by funding supplies, equipment and educational programs that strengthen food security and hands-on learning.
- : Builds community and opportunity through scholarships, mentorship and cultural programming that empower Latinx students, faculty and staff.
- : Equips students for success in tech careers through workshops, conferences and hands-on projects.
- : Amplifies student voices in literature and art through its biannual journal, zine and campus readings.
- : Brings science to life through Earth Week events that promote native plants, conservation and environmental education.
- : Celebrates a decade of taiko ensemble drumming at ÁùÉ«Íø with an anniversary performance that strengthens cultural connections and artistic collaboration.
