Iris S. Levine has been appointed interim president of Cal Poly Pomona effective July 28, following the retirement of President Soraya M. Coley. Levine, an emeritus professor, brings more than three decades of experience at Cal Poly Pomona, having served in various academic and administrative roles, including interim provost and dean of the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences. She will lead the university during the transition period until a permanent president is selected through a national search.
