Elian Herrera is driven by the belief that education and financial knowledge can change lives, especially in underrepresented communities where access to these tools is often limited. Growing up, he was curious about how people build and protect wealth, and that curiosity grew into a passion for studying Finance, Real Estate, and Law. On campus, Elian serves as treasurer for Adelante Estudiantes, managing the club’s budget and supporting cultural and educational events, and works at the César E. Chávez Center for Higher Education, where he helps organize programs that celebrate diverse voices. He has volunteered at local food drives and remains committed to service as a guiding value in his life. A first-generation college student, Elian credits his parents for teaching him perseverance and humility, saying, Their sacrifices and dedication have shaped who I am and inspired me to take my education seriously and give back to others.” Looking ahead, he hopes to become a licensed attorney and real estate broker, and one day build a school in an underserved community.
