These community-based organizations are here to support you beyond campus. They offer services such as legal assistance, advocacy, emergency response, and resources tailored to immigrant communities. Whether you need guidance, protection, or connection, these outside resources can help you and your loved ones navigate challenges and find support.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) is a leading California organization that advocates for immigrant rights and provides direct support to immigrant families and individuals. Their mission is to build a just society that fully includes immigrants through community organizing, advocacy, and legal services.

Pomona Economic Opportunity Center (PEOC)
The Pomona Economic Opportunity Center (PEOC) is a non-profit day labor organization that helps immigrant workers access safe jobs at fair wages. The center also provides opportunities to learn new skills, improve employability, and advocate for better working conditions for all immigrant workers.

Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice (ICIJ/IC4IJ)
The Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice is made up of over 35 organizations serving the immigrant community in the Inland Empire. The coalition focuses on advocacy, community organizing, education, and rapid response to ICE and border patrol operations. IC4IJ also builds capacity through leadership development, shared strategies, and resources to support immigrant rights across the region.

Korean Resource Center (KRC)
The Korean Resource Center (KRC) is a non-profit organization that empowers low-income immigrants, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, and communities of color in Southern California. KRC takes a holistic approach by providing services, education, cultural programs, organizing, and coalition building.

The California Collaborative for Immigrant Justice (CCIJ) works to liberate and empower detained immigrants and their communities. Through coordination, advocacy, and legal services, CCIJ fights for the rights and dignity of immigrants in detention across California.

CCIJ helps coordinate the California Rapid Response Network (CARRN), a statewide system of local hotlines that respond to ICE activity and immigration enforcement. These networks provide community support, resources, and advocacy in real time.

 

Immigrant Defenders Law Center (ImmDef) is a social justice law firm dedicated to defending immigrant communities from injustices in the immigration system. Their universal representation model provides free legal defense and advocacy for immigrants living in Southern California.
