Cal Poly Pomona Scholarships
Undocumented Student Services (USS) is dedicated to student success by connecting all students to a variety of institutional and community scholarships and resources. All university programs, activities, and scholarships are open and available to all regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin. Undocumented students may be eligible to file a California Dream Act Application (CADAA).
This scholarship honors students who have shown a strong commitment to both their education and their community as well as demonstrates financial need. It is open to all students who qualify for in-state tuition and demonstrate financial need as determined by the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) or the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Established in Spring 2006, this initiative was made possible through the vision and dedication of Ricardo Ortega, then President of the Mexican American Student Association, with the support of his family and friends. Their efforts continue to provide meaningful opportunities for students pursuing their academic and personal aspirations.

The allows students to apply for university scholarships via one application. The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships coordinates the scholarship application and awarding process with core committees from the various colleges, departments and organizations responsible for selecting recipients.
Prospective students must be admitted to be considered for opportunities.
Most scholarship awards will be applied during the following academic year, unless otherwise noted within the scholarship description.
Community Based Scholarships

The Felice Samuel Greene Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to deserving youth who would otherwise be unable to afford college tuition, books, and related expenses. Eligible applicants include people who will be attending a college, university, or accredited training program. All majors are eligible for this scholarship:

My Undocumented Life provides up-to-date resources for undocumented students, their families, and allies. The site shares scholarship opportunities open to undocumented students, tips for navigating the education system, DACA application guidance, immigration news, and community support. It’s a valuable resource to help students access funding and feel supported in their higher education journey.

United We Dream, the largest immigrant youth–led community in the country, provides a regularly updated list of scholarships for undocumented students and DACA recipients. Their mission is to create safe and welcoming spaces where immigrant youth can find support, resources, and empowerment. This resource helps students access financial aid opportunities and feel connected to a broader community.
