It provides access to a wide range of academic content such as articles, master’s theses, conference papers, and more. The goal is to make this work easily available to the public, helping others learn, discover new ideas, and support life-long learning. Here at Cal Poly Pomona, Bronco ScholarWorks is managed by the University Library. It helps highlight our academic excellence and allows ÁùÉ«Íø authors to reach a broader audience beyond our campus community.
Bronco ScholarWorks has long served as a vital platform that connects ÁùÉ«Íø graduate students and their faculty advisors with local and global communities by showcasing master’s theses and projects. More recently, it has helped increase visibility of work by our first-year undergraduate students as well as faculty members. By sharing what our students can do starting in their first year, it opens up the possibility of partnerships with local organizations, enhancing their community engagement throughout their ÁùÉ«Íø career. By providing open access to scholarly content published by our faculty, it democratizes knowledge, allowing broader access to their research findings, and enhances ÁùÉ«Íø’s reputation as a hub for innovation.
Students can both connect with and contribute to this growing collection of scholarly work. Future students can benefit by gaining inspiration and developing skills in writing, research, and presentation which can result in meaningful scholarship. Current students can learn from their peers and look for opportunities to connect with faculty mentors to advise their own work. Students nearing graduation can use their publications to demonstrate their scholarly capabilities as well as their career readiness.

“By publishing their scholarly, research, or creative work on ScholarWorks, students will have a permanent URL where they can direct future employers or colleagues to their work,” said Winny Dong, Director of Innovation and Grants in the Office of Academic Innovation. “They can share the URL with employers, family, friends, or on their social media.”
Bronco ScholarWorks supports the university’s mission of become-by-doing and elevates the school’s scholarly impact. See more by visiting the website.
