The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program offers students a well-rounded education in business principles and management practices. Program Options
Accounting
Accounting is the lifeblood of business. In order to remain competitive, organizations of every size need professionals who can measure economic events, process data into reports as well as communication and interpret results. Equipped with these reports, managers and executives can evaluate the overall health of their organizations and decide how to allocate resources.
Computer Information Systems
The Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department educates students for successful careers as information technology professionals. The CIS program is recognized both regionally and nationally. Faculty have top academic credentials and industry experience and are committed to quality teaching and to working with students on relevant research that strengthens professional IT practice and teaching. CIS students learn both theory and current practice in a strong, common core and in specialized courses.
E-Business
The EBZ curriculum prepares the graduate for careers in managing operations and supply chain in small and large companies, national and international businesses, not-for-profit institutions, and government.
Finance, Real Estate, and Law
The Finance, Real Estate and Law Department (FRL) provides a program for individuals interested in careers in finance, real estate and law or in related fields in private or public organizations. The FRL curriculum provides the student with theory and practical application through hands-on learning in the polytechnic tradition.
Marketing Management
Marketing is a powerful tool that helps influence people's decisions and ideas on a daily basis. Marketing takes a variety of forms, from multimedia advertisements to product placement and public relations.
International Business
In today’s ever-increasing multicultural and multinational world, employers want professionals who can quickly grasp the changes and needs of the global economy. The International Business (IB) program equips students with these essential skills as well as an understanding and appreciation of various countries’ cultures, languages, economies and politics.
Management and Human Resources
MHR students receive education and training in areas such as leadership development, ethics, managing diversity, employee hiring and retention, training development, employment law, and creating a business startup.
Technology and Operations Management
The primary goal of Operations Management is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of businesses to create higher value and more profit for stakeholders while meeting the customer requirements every day. Student studying TOM will learn topics such as business process analysis, inventory management, and quality management as well as logistics operations and physical distribution systems.

Curriculum
Students earning the Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration are required to select one of the eight options (subplans) listed above, and must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA in core courses to receive a degree in the major.
