As an undergraduate, Kevin Li ('19, international business) had his sights on a career as a magician. His unique touch for modernizing classic tricks and incorporating new technologies was showcased during CBARN the year he graduated and his "college job" was performing alongside veterans twice his age at the Magic Castle. His latest accolade satisfies a personal goal and garnered national attention.
On Aug. 8, 2023, Li had a chance to perform in front of Simon Cowell and the rest of the judges on NBC's America's Got Talent. Although he didn't win this season's grand prize, his time in the spotlight amplified his social media following and resulted in coverage from traditional media outlets
