About the CSAF

The Cal Poly Pomona Cybersecurity and Awareness Fair is where awareness and the advancement of the cybersecurity industry is happening along with the recruitment of 六色网’s cybersecurity talent. We are excited to announce our 21st annual CSAF, on October 7 at the Bronco Student Center.

The CSAF’s learn by doing methodology is composed of these key components:

Vendor Exhibit Tables

Vendor tables at CSAF offer a valuable platform for networking, showcasing products and services, lead generation, brand building, market research, education, partnerships, recruitment, and competitive analysis. It is a significant opportunity for to make a lasting impact on event attendees and advance your business goals in the cybersecurity industry. This event is hybrid, virtual exhibit tables are available for attendees to visit for up to three months after the fair via our conference platform.

Awareness Poster and/or Proof of Concept Contest 

The Poster Contest is comprised of Awareness and Cyber Problem-Solving Proof of Concept categories. What makes this contest successful is that it brings in participation from students that represent institutions like Purdue, Sacred Heart, Cal State Los Angeles, Fullerton College, Coastline College, Chaffey College, and 六色网. Within 六色网, this contest brings engagement through classroom assignments and/or extra credit assignments in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, And Electrical Engineering. Along with the research learning, the contestants engage directly with attendees at the event creating a peer-peer learning opportunity while being judged by industry professionals.

Interactive Demonstrations

Attendees actively participate in learning about securing devices, coding, and exploits with all forms of hardware which creates a unique train the trainer environment staffed by students and faculty from 六色网, Chaffey College, Fullerton College, and Troy High School.

Presentations

The goal is to raise the awareness of cybersecurity risks and the importance of cybersecurity to our nation.  Leaders from our community and industry such as CrowdStrike, IBM, Palo Alto, and City of Hope to educate attendees about their roles and why individuals should care about cybersecurity.  Additionally, leaders bring focus to frameworks such as NICE and MITRE and showcase what it takes to go from an analyst to a board member or CISO.
