Biography

Maha Ghosn is a dedicated educator, researcher, and academic innovator with over a decade of experience teaching marketing and business strategy at Cal Poly Pomona. She currently serves as a Lecturer in the International Business and Marketing Department within the College of Business Administration and in the Singelyn Graduate School of Business at Cal Poly Pomona, where she specializes in principles of marketing, market analysis, marketing research, strategic marketing problems, and marketing management applications. 

With a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing Management from Cal Poly Pomona and a law degree from Lebanese University, professor Ghosn brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the classroom. Her signature course, “Prof. G.’s MRX,” has been recognized as a Signature Polytechnic Experience (PolyX), enabling students to explore data-driven decision-making and applied marketing research through real-world projects and collaborative learning.

Professor Ghosn's pedagogical approach centers on inclusive excellence, experiential learning, and the integration of digital tools. She has earned multiple credentials in quality online teaching, including certifications from ACUE, Quality Matters, and the CSU Quality Learning and Teaching. Her leadership roles in faculty development include serving as a Faculty Lead for Online Course Services and as a SQuAIR Faculty Fellow with the CSU Chancellor's office in collaboration with the Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence (CAFE), where she supports quality assurance and equitable teaching initiatives across campus.

An active scholar, Professor Ghosn's research focuses on marketing education, student success, digital micro-credentialing, and accessibility in higher education. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences such as the Marketing Educators’ Association and the CSUN Assistive Technology Conference. She has also contributed to CSU-wide research on student quality assurance and faculty development outcomes.

Beyond academia, Professor Ghosn has over 15 years of industry experience in marketing, consulting, and business management, including leadership roles in automotive services, real estate, and healthcare. This professional background enriches her teaching with practical insights and real-world applications.

A passionate advocate for accessibility and student-centered learning, Professor Ghosn is committed to preparing students for meaningful careers and civic impact through innovative pedagogy and continuous engagement with emerging trends in education and marketing.
