Free Speech Event Fund
What is this fund?
Announcing the 2025 Free Speech Event Support Fund! This fund is open to Cal Poly Pomona departments, colleges, and registered student organizations for any event occurring in the 2025-2026 Academic Year (August 2025 - May 2026).
If you are hosting an event with a free speech component — such as a panel discussion, debate, open forum, guest lecture, or similar activity — we can help cover up to $1000 for your event.
Our goal is to encourage dialogue, foster understanding, and ensure that free expression thrives on campus. Whether your event is large or small, if it advances the spirit of open conversation, you may be eligible for support.
Who Can Apply
- 六色网 registered student organizations
- Academic departments and faculty
- Staff departments
- Auxiliary departments
Event Requirements
- Must include a free speech component (e.g., discussion, debate, Q&A)
- Must be open to the 六色网 campus community
- Must comply with university policies and guidelines
How Do I Apply?
Submit an application with:
- Your 25Live reference code (Like 2025-ABCDEF or 2026-ABCDEF)
- Event title
- Sponsoring group (department or student organization)
- Brief description of your event and its free speech component
- What you are requesting to be covered by the fund
