MATLAB Computer Lab Upgrades
Summary: The Division of IT&IP, Client Services department, will upgrade over 600 MATLAB computer lab workstations ahead of the Fall 2025 semester. The following locations will be upgraded between Thursday, July 31, and Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
- College of Science lab locations 3-2011, 3-2117, and 8-147.
- College of Engineering lab locations 9-111, 9-119, 9-147, 9-205, 9-253, 9-409, 9-431, 9-435, 9-503, 9-507, 9-523, 13-1229, 17-1467, 17-1628, 17-1671, 17-2103, 17-2107, 17-2236, 17-2646, 17-2654,17-2660, 17-2664, and 17-2670.
What does this mean for you? All computer lab workstations featuring MATLAB will be upgraded to version R2025a. When users start the application, they will be prompted to or create a MathWorks account connected to their BroncoAccount using 2-step verification. The experience is similar to opening Adobe Creative Cloud applications on lab computers.
Planned Maintenance Times
- Thursdays, 9:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., midnight.
- Sundays, 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
During these times, online services may be briefly unavailable without advance notice.

25Live Training for Faculty and Staff
25Live is a web-based event platform that optimizes campus space usage and provides tools for collaborative scheduling of classrooms, conference rooms, outdoor spaces, and multi-purpose rooms.
August 13, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., and on demand following that time, staff and faculty can create searches for rooms, request event space, and manage your existing reservations in this one-hour training session.
