About the Program
Combine your passion for crops or livestock with business skills to manage anything from a family farm to a global company. The only program of its kind in California, it offers a strong foundation in agribusiness—covering marketing, accounting, food laws, and more—while preparing you to navigate industry challenges and tailor your path to your career goals.
The Polytechnic Approach
Work in operations at the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center or market new ÁùÉ«Íø products at the farm store. Create business plans, compile financial statements and use analytics to guide strategy. Develop agri-food items or tackle industry challenges in competitions sponsored by the USDA, National Grocers Association, NAMA and the Food Distribution Research Society.

Cal Poly Pomona's Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and Food Industry Management provides a comprehensive foundation in agribusiness management, covering essential areas such as accounting, marketing, retailing, wholesaling, personnel management, and food laws and regulations.
