The Huntley College of Agriculture Presents the Pumpkin Festival

There’s lots to do and see at Pumpkin Fest! Many activities only require general admission to enjoy.  Guests can pay with major credit cards or Apple Pay while at Pumpkin Fest, although some vendors will accept cash for payment.

Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Hill:
Our huge patch includes thousands of medium to jumbo pumpkins for purchase, surrounded by plenty of photo ops.

This area also includes:
The Marketplace:
Handmade, artisan, and craft vendors; dessert and snack vendors.

Pumpkin Land:
A wonderful and colorful area filled with an amazing variety of pumpkins and gourds, making beautiful creations.

Cal Poly Pomona Farm Stand:
A good old-fashioned farm stand featuring unusual pumpkins, fall decorations, honey, pumpkin bread, and other goodies.

Kid’s Pumpkin Patch:
A fun and colorful space for little ones to find the perfectly sized pumpkin and lots of photo ops.

Farm Kids Country Fair:
The country fair includes a hay bale obstacle course, fun photo ops, games, the Exciting Duck Races, and the Kid’s Corn Maze. Also includes demonstrations from the Western Antique Power Associates (WAPA). 

Sunflower Fields Forever:
A beautiful maze filled with over a dozen different types of sunflowers that make it a great spot for photos and a place to enjoy the grace of these beautiful flowers.

foodZONE 2: The Center Parking Lot is the place for great food and snacks. This is also the home for our Huntley College of Agriculture student club booths. You'll also find shaded picnic tables and hay bales for sitting.

 Animal Farm

petting zoo animalsZONE 3: The Petting Farm: Our animals are some of the cutest and friendliest petting animals around. Meet and greet our furry friends with over 20 lovable goats, sheep (including our own celebrity Oreo), a calf, and a surprise or two. Feed cups are available for $3 apiece. The Cow Train closes at 6 p.m., so plan accordingly.

Moo Moo Cow Train: 
We moved the Cow Train, and it's bigger and wilder than ever! Ride on an antique tractor-pulled Happy Cow Train car traveling around the petting farm pasture. The Cow Train closes at 6 p.m., so plan accordingly.

Corn Maze

cornZONE 4: Large Corn Maze: It’s a crazy web of twisting, turning trails that will leave you scratching your head searching for the way out. This corn is not for the faint of heart, but don’t worry: there’s always a way out. The corn maze closes at 6 p.m., so plan accordingly.

Hay Wagon Rides

hay wagonZONE 4: Hay Wagon Ride: Enjoy touring the Discovery Farm at AGRIscapes on a hay wagon ride pulled by one of our antique tractors restored, maintained, and driven by the members of the Western Antique Power Associates (WAPA). It circles the corn maze and some of the growing fields. Your student tour guide will share some info on things going on at the farm. The hay wagon rides close at 6 p.m., so plan accordingly.

Farm Store at Kellogg Ranch

Farm store logoThe Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store sells a selection of the freshest produce and fruit straight off the university farm. We also have a variety of gourmet food and snack items for you to enjoy. During October, The Farm Store sells a wide variety of pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and types!

Please note: The Farm Store will be open EXCLUSIVELY to Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Fest patrons on Saturdays, and Sundays from Oct. 4 to Oct. 26. Paid admission is required to attend Pumpkin Fest. 

For the other days of the week, the store will open at its regular hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
