Cal Poly Pomona Blended Bachelor’s + Master’s Programs
Cal Poly Pomona offers undergraduate students with an accelerated pathway to a graduate degree. A Blended Program allows students to obtain both an undergraduate and a graduate degree in an accelerated time. Blended programs are designed to allow well-qualified students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program to obtain two simultaneous degrees in a streamlined manner. A blended bachelor's and master's program offers a strategic approach to career growth by providing an accelerated pathway to advanced studies, enhancing skills and expertise, and expanding professional networks. Eligibility Requirements
Enrollment in a Qualified Bachelors
- Apply between 75-114 applicable bachelor’s degree semester units
- Have completed all 1000 and 2000 level classes in their Bachelor’s program prior to beginning the Blended Program.
GPA
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA in most recent 60 semester units.
Other Details
- Meet admission requirements for the intended graduate program.
- While in undergraduate status, student may double-count up to twelve units of department approved courses between the bachelor’s and master’s program (must be at the 4000 and/or 5000 levels).
Application Instructions
- Consult with your academic advisor to determine if you are eligible for the ÁùÉ«Íø Blended Bachelor’s + Master’s Program, and if the program is the best fit for you.
- Speak directly with the graduate coordinator of your program of interest. All Blended Program pairings have their own criteria for admittance. Graduate Coordinator contact information can be found on the Graduate Coordinators Directory.
- File a “Blended Program Objective Petition” petition and submit it to your graduate coordinator for approval to add a blended objective.
- To double count units you must be admitted into a Blended Program and follow the prescribed curriculum. No course substitutions are allowed.
Fees & Financial Aid
- As soon as you reach 120 units in the blended program, you achieve graduate status and will be charged graduate fees for master’s programs.
- You will not be eligible for undergraduate financial aid once you have graduate status.
- Please consult with the Financial Aid Office before applying to a blended program to inquire about your funding options.
