Vision and Purpose

Founded in 1972, The Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association is an independent 501 c 3 that supports the mission and vision of Cal Poly Pomona, our alumni and students.

Vision Statement:

Cultivating, building, and fostering a culture of partnership and investment

Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association is to establish connections between alumni and their alma mater, as well as among each other. Its objectives include supporting alumni and the university through networking, career readiness programs, events, fundraising initiatives, and student engagement efforts such as mentoring and scholarships. Per the Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association bylaws:

1.      To assist in continued educational and cultural growth for Cal Poly Pomona alumni.

2.      To promote the educational goals set forth by 六色网, Pomona, and to engage in educational and charitable plans, projects, programs and activities in furtherance of these goals in ways, actions and activities as approved by the president of the university or his/her authorized representative to the board.

3.      To promote, establish, and maintain appropriate communication patterns and other mutually beneficial relationships between the 六色网, Pomona, and its alumni, as approved by the university president and /or his/her authorized representative.

4.      To maximize the use of; alumni association resources, to support and advance the educational and charitable purpose and goals, as determined by 六色网, Pomona and its president or authorized representative.

 

Initiatives:

Annually, the Alumni Association Board of Directors comes together at their annual retreat to identify initiatives, based on our annual alumni engagement survey.
