Projects Made Possible By the Mitchell C. Hill Student-Run Data Center
Cal Poly Pomona and the Mitchell C. Hill Student-Run Data Center share the same philosophy of “learn by doing”. Thus, we are always encouraging faculty to bring to students the most challenging IT projects that would engage students into implementing what they have learned in school, to solve real life issues in practical situations. With such a learning tradition, we proudly share these projects that will be brought up to students, and projects that our CIS students are currently working on below.
Proxmox Project
Chef Automate gives you a full-stack continuous deployment pipeline, automated testing for compliance and security, and visibility into everything that’s happening along the way. It builds on Chef for infrastructure automation, InSpec for compliance automation and Habitat for application automation. You can transform your company into a highly collaborative, software-driven organization with Chef Automate as the engine.

Mitchell C. Hill Student-Run Data Center Website
Funded by Mitchell C. Hill foundation, the Student-Run Data Center was created to provide faculty and students opportunities to experiment with a cloud environment. Faculty can teach about the technologies and students can learn how to approach the use of cloud solutions in the future.
