All audio/visual content use at Cal Poly Pomona must have captions to meet university accessibility requirements. Let us assist you in making your content accessible.
Ready to get your content captioned?
- Five days advance notice
- MediaVision provides captioning at no cost to any content that is used as part of your course materials.
- For content that is not part of course materials the syncing of captioning at no cost; however, we are unable to generate a transcript of your event.
- If you do not have a transcript then there is a $99/hour ($1.65/min) charge for transcription as we send this out to a third-party company.
- If you provide us with a transcript of the event we can provide the captions at no charge.
- We can only provide captions for the following formats:
- Online content hosted by the university
- DVDs & BluRays
- Public YouTube and Vimeo content through Amara.org
