The Cal Poly Pomona Music Board is made up of student leaders who work alongside the department to support your music education.

One of the board’s key roles is managing Instructionally Related Activities (IRA) funds, which help enhance eligible music classes with performances, events, and hands-on learning experiences.

Everything the Music Board does supports the department’s mission: to help students reach their highest musical, academic, and professional potential.

We prepare you for a range of music careers—from performance and teaching to business and production—while also fostering a lifelong appreciation for the role of music in a well-rounded life.
