Bachelor of Arts: Music Industry Studies

The Audition Process Explained

While each component of the audition is important, we know it is common for students to have imbalances in their abilities. We take a “big picture” approach in our evaluation process. Each component of the audition – including a short interview – helps us assess your overall potential as a musician.

  • You are required to audition in order to determing placement within the Bachelor of Arts, Music Industry Studies program.
  • You will get a 15 minute audition slot. Including your setup and take down time.
  • You should select material for the audition which best demonstrates your abilities, following the guidelines for repertoire below.
